Good to know
Is HZMB Hong Kong Port part of Hong Kong International Airport?
No. It is a separate boundary-crossing facility beside the airport. Travelling between the port and an airport terminal requires a separate transfer.
Can I take the MTR directly from the port?
No. There is no MTR station inside the port. Bus connections include B6 to Tung Chung and B5 to Sunny Bay, where you can transfer to the Tung Chung Line. Check current service details before travelling.
Does a bridge shuttle ticket include transport to downtown Hong Kong?
A bridge shuttle connects boundary ports, not downtown hotels. Arrange local transport from the Hong Kong Port separately. Through cross-boundary coaches have their own routes and ticket conditions.
Should I choose the Zhuhai or Macao shuttle?
Choose according to your intended destination and entry eligibility. Zhuhai and Macao are different arrival jurisdictions, so confirm the destination before purchasing your ticket.
How much time should I allow before a flight?
There is no single reliable allowance for every journey. Include travel to the port, border processing, transport waiting time, the transfer to the airport and your airline’s check-in deadline, with extra buffer for disruption.
